The Microbits (a tiny computer) have arrived! The children in Year 5 and 6 all participated in a workshop run by Mr Allen Tsui. They used the Microsoft’s MakeCode editor to program the Microbits by setting inputs and adding in variables. Then Mr Allen kindly shared a game that he had prepared earlier and the children were able to have a go at the game to see the capabilities of the Microbits! One workshop was not enough so we’re hoping that Mr Allen will be able to come teach our Y5 and Y6 children again soon!
